Summer Program at Water Street, in Liberty 2015
Our base will be the Water Street Learning Center, our playground will be the woods and along the St. George River. We will have time for making things, time for singing, and time to explore our beautiful wooded area, in a celebration of summer with a gang of friends. Please join Bill Huntington and Toki Oshima for an engaging summer program, offering 4 weeks of Monday-Thursdays, from 9:00am-1:30pm.
Blending Colors June 29, 30, July 1, 2
During this week, we will be having fun with color; water color and tempera painting, tie dyeing t shirts, overlaying tissue paper and making potions with magical mixtures.
Building Week July 6, 7, 8, 9
This is a week for building houses from found objects and lumber, making boats; both bark boats and sail boats, then sailing them on the river.
Theater from Top to Bottom July 13, 14, 15, 16
Have you ever wanted to act, sing, make costumes and sets? We will do it all in this active week of making a play from a folktale, presenting to our parents on the final day.
Fairies & Gnomes July 20, 21, 22, 23
They are there hiding behind a flower, of near the root of a tree, and we will create homes in the woods for these shy creatures. A Flower Fairy and a Gnome will be sewed so that everyone can take home their very own.
For children ages 4-10 limited enrollment 9am-1:30pm
